The Sway × YNK sort center

YNK runs a night sort center at Veiled NJ for Sway’s North-East expansion — and is also a Sway shipper.

YNK operates a nightly package sort center at the Veiled NJ facility (465 Mola Blvd, Elmwood Park, NJ) supporting Sway’s North-East expansion. Inbound parcels arrive by linehaul each evening, are scanned into custody, sorted by destination market, consolidated into pallets, and dispatched on outbound linehauls.

YNK wears two hats

  • Sort operator — YNK provides the staff, local management, and facility; Sway provides the SOPs, training, technology, and the handheld app.
  • Shipper — YNK’s own brands are Sway carrier customers, so YNK sorts its own merchants’ parcels through the same operation (Veiled ships Sway Select; other YNK brands currently ship SpeedX).

Sway’s own software spans far more than the sort — dispatch and driver routing, delivery audits and proof-of-delivery, a delivery-recovery queue, returns pickups, and millions of recipients (see Fleet & delivery). YNK’s ambition is to grow from sortation into a launch center and full 3PL — and to own more of that software backend, end to end. See Expansion.
